The chair is my "found-objects" piece from the woodcarving class. The concept behind the chair is of a man, balancing on the rung of a chair. His legs spread out behind him, and he balances precariously on the old chairs. One arm is stretched out in front of him, counterbalancing. You can almost see that the only support of the branched-man on the chairs is at the lower arm, bound with twine. The rest hang in the air.
