| In the fall of '04, I took a blacksmithing class at RISD. Blacksmithing is hard! It requires a good sense of timing, the ability to hit your metal exactly where you want to hit it, and a knowledge of how to position your materials properly. Suffice to say, I made very few things of any worth. These two pieces are the only two I saved, the rest being "exercises in technique." |
